It’s very hard choosing a song, but recently I hear a song and I can’t stop to hear it!

The first time I hear it, I was with my sister in the beach and we were listen music from her cell phone, she loves this song too.

The song is “Riptide” of Vance Joy, it’s so beautiful!

I think that the theme of song is about a boy who loves a girl and how he tries to rescue her, because she always chooses badly her boyfriends. The song it’s very deep, because she is a little “masochistic”, so she always returns to “riptide” and the darkness, so he always back to rescue her.

I guess he always do it, because he love all about her, with her virtue and her imperfection, and he really think that they are destined.

On the other hand, the music is perfect for the letter, the guitar and the voice for Vance Joy sound together very nice! And the video It’s perfect, because represent the song and the letter perfectly.

But, I must confess that I prefer the acoustic version, because I can feel the emotion in my skin.

Obviously, when I hear this song I singing very hard!  

I really want you love this song like me, it’s a really beautiful song and I love it.

My favorite band?

I can’t decide what’s my favorite band, because I love music, and I had many favorites’ bands and singer. But recently I’m obsessed with Taylor Swift, in fact I’m obsessed with a song of her. I don`t konw why , because I don’t really like her kind of music but I can’t stop to hear it!

So, I don’t know so much about Taylor Swift, I know she is a very popular and was born in USA as well as at first she sing country, but her last disc is Pop kind.

So, my favorite song is “Blank Space”, I really don’t know why like this song, but I think that song attract me for the lyrics and chord (the lyrics is a little creepy because she talk about that a woman whit two personality and her boyfriend… It’s a really creepy song)

And the video is so amazing! I think that the video was so expensive, because it’s has a big production, but also is creepy. In this video, she acts like a crazy woman.

So, I wait you like this song, is special when you are angry with your boyfriend or girlfriend.

Inmigrant and Social Work

Just recently, I went to a commune in Santiago, Quilicura, with my classmates and IOM (International Organization for Migration) to interview the Immigrant People that lived there. Their reality was quite hard. To be faced with this situation, with the Immigrants themselves, to learn their precarious way of living and to know how hard is for them to live without their families in our country, it helped me to realize that something must be done.

Nowadays, our country does not have an effective legislation that shelters and covers the needs of Immigrants, people who see in Chile a place to improve their situation, and that is why there must be a necessity to know and to truly see and learn about the Immigrants situation, in order to give them a proper solution.

I believe that if this issue was more widespread, as well as the Immigrants contribution to our country, this would generate social pressure that would show the necessity to create laws that adress the main needs of immigrants, since none of this is guaranteed. 

Personally, I think that Social Work is a profession that must be in charge of said process, since it has the tools to permit this change. Besides, nowadays, immigrants are a social phenomenom that Social Work  has been very aware of for quite a time, and being that this profession seeks to investigate and find a solution to social problems, immigrations being one of them, Social Work cannot ignore it.

I must confess that I don’t know very much about technology, I know that’s very sad, but I wanted to learn.  At least, I can download music and movies and I can clean my computer with the  antivirus software.

But I can use my cell phone, very well indeed. I think that the cell phones are mini computers but more simple. My cell phone in specially are very cute, because I love buy accessories for it. I have my cell phone since November 2014, was a gift of my parents for my graduation.  

I think I use my cell phone 10 hours a day, because I used it for everything. I read news and books, and also I can listen to music and surf on internet at the same time.

My favorite cell game is Springfield city, I love it! But i can`t play everytime, beacuase I need internet for used it.

In this selfie I am with my best friend, his name is Isaac and he is the person that makes my life wonderful. We took it on a winter's day in Parque Bustamante, after a long walk through the streets of Santiago.

To me, this photo is special, because it shows the beauty of our smiles in a way that is spontaneous, because the photo itself was a photographic success. We were playing around with the camera and making faces and by mistake this beautiful picture came out, where you can totally see our happiness. I like the way that the photo wasn’t planned at all. To me, the most beautiful photos are the ones that replicate true happiness that you can feel in a moment without planning so.

Me and Isaac have an album full of photos, being that every time we went out together, we take a billion of pictures (some uglier than others), to portray that we had an amazing day. Every time I feel bored, I look at our photos and remember when and why we took it and I can’t help the smile on my face.

We love to take funny pictures so much, that we installed an app in our phones called Snapchat, that allow us to send each other pictures, but the one receiving it only has a few seconds to see it. When I’m feeling down, Isaac always sends me a funny picture through it to make my day better. He always does.

I madly love my best friend and adore to take pictures with him.

My favorite place to eat out it is called "Evergreen", a vegetarian restaurant located in Santiago, near Paseo Bulnes. I love it, because it has a buffet kind of style, and is not expensive at all, so that's great! Even though I’m not a vegetarian myself, I always like to try new recipes based on vegetables only, and since it’s a pleasant, quiet and nice place, I always comeback. It teaches me to eat healthy without expending so mucho money.

My favorite meal is the vegetable cake, because it has different kinds of vegetables and it’s so colorful and it’s so good! But the menu has so many different kinds other options to choose from, for example, salads, burgers (vegetarian of course), pancakes for dessert, a variety of drinks, and so many other that I can’t seem to remember now!

The first time I went with my family, it was after my graduation ceremony and the food was so exquisite that I can’t stop going since! So I totally recommend stopping by and giving it a try. I think I’ll take my friend there so they can be as in love with that restaurant as I am.

I like Santiago, because it’s always awake and it seems to never stop. 

First of all, I like finding culture as I walk down the streets, in them or the buildings and constructions, and I love the multiples opportunities that in general the city can give. But sometimes, when I need to escape, I go to the beach or to the country, because Santiago is very vertiginous and people are rude when they’re tired. So, sometimes I need to take break in the beach.

I also like that Santiago is near to beach and the mountains with wonderful landscapes just  in one hour driving.
But, nothing is perfect, in Santiago, doesn´t have many green areas and  the air it’s always so contaminated…If I can, I wish to change that.

For this reason, my favorite place is Parque Forestal, it’s a huge park with huge trees, which makes autumn a wonderful show when it comes. Every day, many people visit this place finding a little moments of peace and tranquility, specially for foreing people. Definitely  recommended this place.
